Easter and Easter Monday: state museums free on Easter and open on Easter Monday

The Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC) has announced that for the Easter holiday many state museums, galleries, archaeological sites, villas, gardens, abbeys and monumental complexes will be accessible free of charge on Easter (April 5) under the #DomenicaAlMuseo initiative. On Easter Monday (April 6) numerous institutions will offer extraordinary opening hours with regular admission fees.
