The Museo Civico e Gipsoteca Bistolfi in Casale Monferrato offers a cultural Easter with the first guided tour of the exhibition Here Italy is made. The image of the hero from Bistolfi to Baroni, scheduled for Sunday, April 5 at 4:00 PM. The program results from a partnership among the Municipality of Casale, the local Rotary Club and the De Ferrari Foundation, supported by regional foundations and local institutions.
The exhibition traces how the figure of the hero evolved from the early years of unified Italy to the post–World War I period, moving towards more classical and rhetorical expressions. Central to the display are works by Leonardo Bistolfi and Eugenio Baroni, presented alongside pieces by Gaetano Previati, Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo, Plinio Nomellini, Libero Andreotti and Eliseo Sala.
Practical information: the guided tour on April 5 is open to visitors without prior booking. Ticket prices: full ticket €8; reduced €5 (seniors 60+, students 16–24, Coop and Touring members); compulsory school students and Museum Pass holders €4. Standard free admission rules remain in effect where applicable.
The next guided tour is scheduled for Saturday, April 11 at 4:00 PM. For more information contact the museum at +39 0142 444309 or +39 0142 444249, or email [email protected].
