PARMA 360 — “LUX. Visions on Light”

PARMA 360 marks its tenth edition with a broad program that highlights light as an expressive language and a tool for urban regeneration. The festival takes place across multiple city venues and features installations, photographic exhibitions, fluorescent print research and site-specific works designed to enhance Parma’s architectural heritage.

Highlights

• Galleria San Ludovico — Morphology Light. Journey into the form of light, a solo show by Antonio Barrese curated by Chiara Canali: a selection of historical and recent works exploring light as plastic matter and perceptual structure.
• Palazzo Pigorini, main floor — Michael Kenna. The Po River. Writings of Light, curated by Sandro Parmiggiani: 70 black-and-white photographs made between 2007 and 2019 that trace the Po and turn light into a visual narrative.
• Palazzo Pigorini, second floor — Quadrifluox, project by Piergiuseppe Molinar: experiments with fluorescent inks that activate imagery under Wood light, redefining the relationship between paper and perception.
• Palazzo Pigorini, second floor — A New Light, curated by Galleria Caracol: the first Italian exhibition gathering Jean Mallard, Clément Thoby and Florian Pigé — three contemporary French illustrators united by their use of light.
