Artist Pamela Diamante presents an environmental installation that unfolds through iron structures and ceramic elements. Acquired by the Pinacoteca Metropolitana "Corrado Giaquinto" with PAC2025 support, the work is rooted in dialogue with migrant workers and centers on themes of labor, adaptation and collective memory.
The installation evokes a hive of metallic presences: although it cannot be entered, it prompts reflection on the relationship between body and work. The iron columns and bases reference the heights and postures of participants, turning everyday gestures into a sculptural language that highlights dignity and toil.
The project combines anthropological research with artistic practice to present a collective perspective on lives frequently marginalized. Visitors are encouraged to engage attentively with the formal elements and the social narratives they convey.
Practical information: for visiting hours and details contact the Pinacoteca Metropolitana "Corrado Giaquinto" or the Sala del Colonnato. The work is included in the contemporary art promotion programme supported by the Ministry of Culture.
