Padiglione Italia at the 2026 Venice Biennale: "Con te con tutto"

Artist: Chiara Camoni (b. 1974, Piacenza). Curator: Cecilia Canziani. Venue: Tese delle Vergini, Arsenale — Padiglione Italia, Venice Biennale.

"Con te con tutto" is Chiara Camoni’s exhibition project for the Padiglione Italia at the 61st International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale. The installation occupies the historic Tese delle Vergini and reconfigures the space as a shifting landscape of sculptures and interactions.

What to see

  • First nave (prima tesa): twenty-four sculptures—columns and anthropomorphic figures (Colonne, Sister, Daimon)—made in clay using traditional techniques such as coiling and terracotta assembly. Slightly larger than life, the works are complemented by shrubs, shells, stones and found objects.
  • Second nave (seconda tesa): the "Dialogues" section, curated by Lucia Aspesi and Fiammetta Griccioli, which integrates formal and material conversations with the main installation.

Themes and language

The show emphasizes process, care and collective practices. Camoni focuses on co-creation and the use of humble, found materials, reworking strands of 20th-century Italian art—with echoes of Arte Povera—to probe relationships between human, animal and sacred, while challenging authorship hierarchies.
