From 22 to 28 May 2026 Medina Art Gallery presents CONFIDENZE, a solo exhibition by Giuseppe Fresca with a curatorial text by Lucía Marcos. The show examines painting as a process where material, marks and erasures register the passing of time.

Opening: Friday 22 May 2026 at 6:00 PM.

Fresca works on raw canvas through progressive layering: each gesture, addition or compression remains visible, shaping a surface of tensions. Recurrent black elements act as containment, while chromatic openings in red, yellow and blue push through the painted skin. Painting becomes an active field where gesture is essential rather than decorative.

The works do not reveal themselves at once: they require close, gradual engagement, where the threshold between inside and outside slowly emerges.
