European Night of Museums 2026 in Cremona
The European Night of Museums brings free evening openings to Cremona, with guided tours, family workshops, screenings and music events. Below is a concise program for each venue and practical details to attend.
Museum program
- Museo Civico Ala Ponzone (via Ugolani Dati, 4)
Free evening opening from 21:00 to 24:00 for the Stanze per la Musica and the Sala delle Colonne ("Espressionismo magico padano" by Michele Mascarini). Guided tours of the Sala delle Colonne at 21:30, 22:15 and 23:00. The permanent collection and the "Omaggio a Rembrandt" exhibition are open during the day from 10:00 to 17:00 with paid admission.
Children's workshop (6–10 years) at 15:30: "Inside the painting: flowers, insects and imagination". Free with mandatory reservation: [email protected].
- Stanze per la Musica (via Ugolani Dati, 4)
Free opening from 21:00 to 24:00. Guided visits start at 21:30. Musical meetings in Sala Manfredini ("The guitar from the Baroque to the 20th century") at 21:15, 21:45, 22:15 and 22:45, in collaboration with the Claudio Monteverdi Conservatory.
- Museum of Natural History (via Ugolani Dati, 4)
Free opening from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 21:00 to 24:00. Evening program includes the documentary "Plastic River" (Sala Puerari) in loop and the family workshop "The Alchemists of Recycling" (21:00–22:00). Exhibitions area hosts "Visioni di Infanzia" with guided visits.
- Museum of Rural Civilization "Il Cambonino Vecchio" (viale Cambonino, 22)
Free opening with family activities from 10:00 to 16:00 (World Bee Day with apiary visits). From 17:00 to 19:30 the event "Culture in dialogo" offers cross-cultural voices and visits.
- San Lorenzo Archaeological Museum (via San Lorenzo, 4)
Free evening opening from 21:00 to 24:00. Video-theatre performance "Memento" from 21:00 to 22:00 (production QU.EM.quintelemento and NexTeatro). The off-circuit installation for Cremona Contemporanea will also be viewable.
- Museum of the Violin (piazza Marconi, 5)
Free opening from 21:00 to 24:00. Guided tours depart every 15 minutes (first at 21:00, last departure at 23:30) to explore the violin collections. Bookshop and bistro remain open.
- Torrazzo (piazza del Comune)
