Night of Museums in Piacenza: program and practical information

On Saturday 23 May 2026 Piacenza takes part in the Night of Museums with extended openings, themed routes and activities focused on the city's monuments and historic sites. Below is the detailed program to help you plan visits, workshops and evening appointments.

• Musei Civici di Palazzo Farnese – Special opening from 20:00 to 24:00 (last admission at 23:00). Reduced entry fee €1. Reservation recommended to get priority access: [email protected].
  • Guided itineraries “Margherita and the others. Stories of resistance and female resilience” at 20:00, 21:00, 22:00 and 23:00 (about 30 minutes each).
  • Visits to the Carriage Collection: 21:30 and 22:30 (“Women travelling: in search of freedom and independence”).
  • Routes on the “Heroines of the Risorgimento”: 20:30 and 23:30.
  • Children's workshop for ages 5–12 (children under 6 must be accompanied by a parent): “Goddesses, huntresses and free women”.
  • Musical reading in the Picture Gallery at 20:30, 21:30 and 22:30 with piano interludes and staged readings.
  • Under the loggia: live music from 20:00 to 22:00 and tastings of local cheeses and wines.
