"Museo Sospeso": free tickets to improve museum accessibility

Starting Monday, 18 May 2026, the Lavazza Group launches the initiative "Museo Sospeso", supported by ICOM Italy. The project aims to make museum visits more accessible for people in vulnerable conditions by offering free tickets from participating museum partners.

Associations and organizations can request tickets directly through the chosen museum's website, after checking each institution's participation criteria. Tickets are available from 18 May 2026 until they run out.

Participating museums

  • Museo Egizio (Turin)
  • Museo Lavazza (Turin)
  • Triennale Milano
  • Pinacoteca di Brera (Milan)
  • Peggy Guggenheim Collection (Venice)

Why this matters

  • Accessibility: the initiative seeks to lower physical and cultural barriers for diverse needs (sensory, cognitive, communicative).
  • Inclusion: it is part of the IncluVisity project, launched in 2023 and steadily expanding its network of cultural institutions.
  • Engagement: promotes tailored visit routes and experiences designed for audiences with specific accessibility requirements.

How to apply

Check participation rules and application procedures on the website of the selected museum. Associations and organizations should submit requests for "suspended" tickets following each museum's instructions.

Practical note: availability is limited and tickets are allocated until exhaustion.
