Balì Museum: where science becomes a game in Colli al Metauro

Autore: Redazione 20/09/2025 14:36

The Balì Museum is an interactive science center located in Colli al Metauro, in the Marche region, inside a historic 18th-century villa. More than a traditional exhibition space, it is a hands-on laboratory where visitors learn by doing, blending the history of the location with a modern and dynamic approach to science communication.

An interactive experience for everyone

The museum is designed to let visitors experience science in a direct and playful way. The exhibition path features dozens of interactive stations that allow visitors to explore physics, mathematics, and astronomy firsthand. There are no display cases or panels to read passively — instead, guests are invited to experiment, play, and discover.

  • Physics and illusion: visitors can walk through an upside-down room, play with mirrors that create optical illusions, and explore the principles of static electricity through touch.
  • Astronomy: the museum also includes a digital planetarium, offering immersive shows that explore the cosmos, constellations, and the solar system in a spectacular way.

The Balì Museum is an ideal destination for families and school groups. Its “hands-on” approach makes it a memorable experience where curiosity is rewarded and learning happens naturally.
