The Casa Galimberti Museum in Cuneo is no ordinary museum — it is a true “house-museum” that allows visitors to step into the heart and mind of Tancredi “Duccio” Galimberti, one of the heroes of the Italian Resistance. Located in the historic home of the Galimberti family, the museum preserves the rooms, furnishings, and objects that marked the lives of Duccio and his father, Tancredi Galimberti, a prominent lawyer and political figure of his time.

The house tells two intertwined stories: that of an educated bourgeois family and that of Duccio Galimberti’s political and moral evolution. The exhibition path leads through the family’s living spaces — from the father’s study, filled with books and documents, to the elegant living room, adorned with period paintings, photographs, and furnishings.
