If you are in Rome on 13 May 2026, several free opportunities are available to explore art, nature and science. Below is a practical summary with opening times, addresses and useful access information.

Main events

  • Exhibition “It’s Happening Again” – Palazzo Braschi: free entry for residents of the Metropolitan City upon presentation of ID. Last day of free entry for residents: 24 May 2026. Address: Piazza San Pantaleo 10. Transport: buses 40, 46, 62, 64; tram 8; within walking distance from Piazza Navona.
  • Roseto Comunale on the Aventine: collection of over 1,100 varieties; garden open daily with indicative hours 08:30–19:30. Free admission. Address: via di Valle Murcia 6 (Metro B Circo Massimo + 10 minutes on foot).
  • Museo Civico di Zoologia – lecture series: final appointment on Thursday 14 May 2026, from 17:00 to 18:30. Free admission until seats are filled. Address: via Ulisse Aldrovandi 18 (buses 52, 53, 217, 360).
