Settimo San Pietro takes part in the 30th edition of Monumenti Aperti with a program focused on local archaeological heritage. The event features guided tours and educational paths to highlight historic sites and exhibited finds.

Program and sites open

• Cuccuru Nuraxi sacred well: a Bronze Age monument reached by a staircase leading to an underground tholos structure, a rare architectural element in the area.
• Arca del Tempo (Via Alagon, 36): an educational experimentation center with a virtual route reconstructing landscapes and monuments from Prehistory to the present. The archaeological collection donated by scholar Carlo Desogus to the municipality is on display for the event.
