Month of Families 2026 in Rimini

The third edition of the Month of Families, promoted by Rimini’s Welfare Department as part of the “Many families, one city” project, brings more than twenty events through May dedicated to children, parents and educators. The 2026 theme centers on welcome within the family, explored through the concept of time as care, relationship and community building.

• 10 May 2026 – Families Festival at Parco Pertini in Rivazzurra: an afternoon outdoors with workshops, play activities and meeting spaces for families.
• 14 May 2026 – Talk with Barbara Tamborini: “Time for care and relationship: turning educational struggles into opportunities” — practical tools to support children in everyday challenges.
• 22 May 2026 – Theatre show “Stone Soup”: a family-friendly performance inspired by the folk tale about meeting and sharing.
• 26 May 2026 – Conference “Family and digital: a pact to educate together”: discussion for parents, educators and teachers on mindful technology use.

The month-long programme also features numerous activities run by local services and associations: workshops, informational events and community initiatives designed to encourage exchange and participation. The Month of Families complements the Regional General Assembly on childhood and adolescence taking place in Rimini in early June, feeding into discussions on natality and family policies.
