Kids Pass Days: 150 free family-friendly events across Italy

Kids Pass Days organizes two days of family activities designed for children from 0 to 12 years: more than 150 free events in museums, planetariums, archaeological parks and cultural spaces nationwide. Offerings include creative workshops, animated guided tours and edutainment sessions to learn while having fun.

Booking is recommended at individual venues: the initiative involves over 100 locations across Italy.

Highlighted events by city

• Rome – Explora, the Children's Museum: interactive workshops, play trails and storytime. The travelling exhibition "Dinosauri in Carne e Ossa" at Appia Joy Park presents life-size prehistoric reconstructions.
• Milan – Gallerie d'Italia: Sketchbook workshop (Saturday 9 May, 15:00-16:00) for children aged 6–12; Leonardo3 Museum and the National Museum of Science and Technology offer hands-on activities for young inventors and aspiring astronauts.
• Turin – National Cinema Museum: treasure hunt in the form of a role-playing game (Sunday 10 May). MAO and Gallerie d'Italia propose practical art-related activities for families.
• Genoa – The City of Children and Young People: sensory-focused paths based on the five senses; Genoa Aquarium and National Museums run interactive family experiences, including the "Say It With a Flower" workshop (Saturday 9 May, 15:00-17:00).
• Bologna – National Art Gallery: animated visit Skies in Frame (Sunday 10 May, 17:00). Palazzo Pepoli and Palazzo Fava host workshops to explore local history and contemporary art with a hands-on approach.
• Naples – Città della Scienza: experiential path "When Science and Art Dress in Red" with experiments, workshops and planetarium shows.
