Mare&Mosto at Palazzo Ducale: wine, oil and monumental heritage

The 11th edition of Mare&Mosto, organized by Ais Liguria, relocates from Sestri Levante to Genoa’s historic centre. The event links Liguria’s wine and olive oil production with guided visits to the city’s historic palaces.

Event highlights

• Guided tastings with producers from the eight regional denominations;
• Masterclasses and technical workshops for professionals and enthusiasts;
• Scheduled visits to the Palazzi dei Rolli and gastronomic tours across the city;
• Selection of the Best Sommelier of Liguria 2026 and discussions between producers and institutions;
• Dedicated area for extra virgin olive oil featuring Dop Riviera Ligure producers;
• Special guest: the Etna Doc Consortium with workshops and tasting stations.

The programme is run in collaboration with the Municipality of Genoa and supported by the Liguria Region, the Chamber of Commerce and relevant ministries. Hosting the event at Palazzo Ducale aims to strengthen territorial promotion by pairing the city’s monumental appeal with its agricultural excellences, offering both professional opportunities and cultural-enogastronomic experiences for visitors.
