GEA 2076 – Memories from the future: Alessandro Calizza's installation in Bari

GEA 2076 is a site-specific exhibition that transforms Corso Vittorio Emanuele II into an immersive, narrative route conceived by artist Alessandro Calizza for Greenpeace Italy. The work uses a future-fiction approach to highlight the effects of extreme climate events and the political and industrial responsibilities that worsen them.

Practical information

Exhibition structure and content

The installation acts as a "time machine" projecting visitors about fifty years ahead, staging dystopian scenarios born from political inaction and the prioritization of profit by polluting industries. The route is designed to be accessible and interactive, combining visual installations, narrative elements and informative content to encourage emotional engagement and reflection.
