Marco Fusinato at PAC Milan: THE ONLY TRUE ANARCHY IS THAT OF POWER

The PAC – Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea in Milan presents Marco Fusinato's first major European monographic exhibition, on view until 7 June 2026. Curated by Diego Sileo and produced by PAC with Silvana Editoriale, the show gathers live performances, installations, prints and vinyl records that investigate noise, image and compositional strategies.

What to expect

• Daily live performances: each evening Fusinato performs improvised noise pieces using electric guitar and powerful amplifiers.
• Reconfiguration of DESASTRES: the performance-installation first shown at the 2022 Venice Biennale is presented here in a new layout within an almost entirely black-and-white space.
• Fragmented projections: heterogeneous images sourced from online archives and the artist's own photographs are projected in portions (only one third at a time) to produce disorientation and hallucinatory effects.
• Graphic and sonic works: experimental screenprints derived from the DESASTRES image library, the MASS BLACK IMPLOSION drawings that convert avant-garde scores into noise compositions, and a selection of 12" LPs featuring live and studio recordings.

The exhibition's darkened parterre and large-format projections heighten the sensory impact: improvised sound and fragmentary visuals aim to provoke a state of confusion that leads to a unique perceptual intensity.
