Magical Spring Interlaces: what to expect

From 10 to 12 April 2026, Castello di Strassoldo di Sopra in the hamlet of Strassoldo (Cervignano del Friuli) opens its halls and gardens for the Magical Spring Interlaces: three days celebrating high-quality crafts and plant nurseries in a striking medieval setting.

Why visit

The event turns the castle and its historic park into an extensive outdoor exhibition: alongside artisans and nurseries from across Italy, the historic rooms and outdoor paths host displays that combine architectural heritage with craft excellence.

What you'll find

• About 120 exhibitors including artisans, nurserymen, artists and small producers.
• Home and garden items, ceramics, jewellery, fine textiles, hats, bags and home fragrances.
• Side events: guided tours of the historic park, walks through the medieval village, traditional children’s games area and an ornamental poultry exhibition.

Opening times and tickets

• Friday 10 April: 10:00 - 19:00. Adult ticket €12; free entry for children under 6 and visitors with disability card; groups (min. 20 people) €10 per person.
• Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 April: 9:00 - 19:00. Adult ticket €15; reduced group rate €12.

Dress code: country chic and comfortable shoes — suitable for a countryside outing rather than formal events.

How to get there

Strassoldo can be reached by car or public transport. By car, follow the SS352 from Udine toward Cervignano del Friuli; from Trieste use the A4 motorway and exit at Palmanova, then about a 10-minute local drive.

The nearest train station is Cervignano-Aquileia-Grado, with onward connections by local bus or taxi to the village.
