MAC Lissone: "Opera Viva" — meeting between past and current directors

A public discussion brings together reflections on the present and history of the Museo d’Arte Contemporanea di Lissone, focusing on its permanent collection, recent exhibitions and the Prize Lissone.

Speakers: artistic director Stefano Raimondi and art historian and curator Francesca Guerisoli, who previously led the museum for three years.

  • When: scheduled for the evening at 6 PM (check the museum calendar for the exact date).
  • Where: Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), Lissone.
  • Admission: free.
  • Context: the talk is part of a series featuring former artistic directors and accompanies the exhibition "Opera Viva - History of a Collection".
  • Exhibition: "Opera Viva" traces the history of the MAC’s Permanent Collection and is on view until May 10.

Francesca Guerisoli teaches and curates in the field of contemporary museology, with interest in photography, urban art and community relations; the conversation with Raimondi will address curatorial choices, exhibition strategies and the museum’s role locally.

This event is a practical opportunity to learn about the collection, engage with curatorial perspectives and participate in discussion about the MAC’s future. For updates on times and programming consult the museum’s official channels.
