The group show “Man as a Landscape” opens on Sunday, April 12 at 17:00 at the Museo di San Francesco in Greve in Chianti. The exhibition brings together graphic art, painting and photography to highlight exchanges between Nordic and Mediterranean sensibilities.
The exhibition features artists living in Finland and Italy whose works resist easy classification. By juxtaposing prints, paintings and photographic series, the show examines how landscape, memory and light shape artistic approaches across different cultural backgrounds.
Designed for broad public engagement, the exhibition offers a clear journey through traditional techniques and contemporary experimentation, inviting visitors to consider varied interpretations of the relationship between people and place.
Organisers: promoted by the Municipality of Greve in Chianti in collaboration with the Embassy of Finland in Rome and the Honorary Consulate of Finland for Tuscany and Umbria.
