Loriana Valentini: "The Essence of Dreams" at RespirArt Gallery

RespirArt Gallery in Giulianova presents a solo exhibition by Loriana Valentini, an artist from Abruzzo whose painting combines evocative figuration with touches of abstraction. Titled The Essence of Dreams, the show traces a contemplative route of veiled colors, biomorphic shapes and suspended atmospheres.

The exhibition, curated by Jessica Montebello, opens with an inauguration on Saturday 9 May at 18:00 featuring a critical introduction by Marialuisa De Santis and a piano performance by Sara Shyti. Valentini's works on display investigate the border between memory and imagination through watercolor, oil and acrylic techniques she has refined over a long career.

Born in Morro d'Oro in 1956 and active in Roseto degli Abruzzi, Valentini has evolved through various expressive phases and worked alongside painter Gianni Massacesi since 1995. Her practice emphasizes layered color and subtle pictorial gestures. This exhibition invites visitors into an immersive encounter with her intimate visual language, where hues and forms evoke inner movements and recollections.
