The building that houses the Lanificio was once a large wool spinning and dyeing factory. After years of abandonment, this space was brought back to life by Armando Mango, musician, author, and all-around artist, who transformed the former mill into a unique and evocative venue. Nothing here has been left to chance: vintage machinery, the enormous loom, spools, and original architectural details have been recovered and creatively reinterpreted. The result is an environment of unmistakable charm, where transparent resin floors reveal traces of the past and a large fireplace, built with reclaimed bricks and stones, welcomes guests in a warm and intimate atmosphere.

The stage for live music, created from the original loom, and the partitions made with antique thread spools make the bistrot a true treasure chest of art and memory. Completing the setting are pieces of antique furniture and works signed by Armando Mango himself, making the Lanificio a place suspended between history and contemporary creativity.

But Lanificio Mango is above all about signature cuisine. Chefs Diego Felice and Antonio Mango reinterpret Lucanian gastronomic tradition with elegance and innovation, favoring zero-kilometer, top-quality ingredients. The menu changes with the seasons, offering ever-new dishes with a bold character. Among the specialties not to be missed is the fillet of Lucanian black pig with Primitivo reduction and seasonal vegetables, a dish that enhances the authentic flavors of the territory with a refined touch.
