Where: Museo nazionale Collezione Salce, Santa Margherita branch — via Reggimento Italia Libera, Treviso, Italy
Marzio Favero leads a lecture examining how the relationship with mountain environments has changed—from wild, awe-inspiring places to urbanized tourist destinations. The talk provides analysis on how social change and industrial development reshaped landscapes and alpine community identities.
This lecture is part of the programming around the exhibition “Un magico inverno. Bianche emozioni dalla Collezione Salce”, on display until 29 March 2026 at the Santa Margherita and San Gaetano venues. The talk helps contextualize the exhibition’s images and objects within broader cultural and touristic transformations.
The session will be introduced by museum director Elisabetta Pasqualin. Entry is free, subject to available seating, and no reservation is required.
Recommended for visitors interested in local history, cultural policies, sustainable tourism and landscape protection: the lecture combines historical perspectives with concrete case studies to explain interactions between heritage, economy and mountain communities.
