Viterbo may become a new hub for cultural exchange with South Korea: a delegation from the King Sejong Institute met municipal authorities and representatives of the University of Tuscia to discuss opening Korean language courses and cultural activities in the city.
The initiative stems from a memorandum of understanding between Wonkwang Digital University and the University of Tuscia and envisages establishing a language center within the local university. To date, the King Sejong Institute operates in Italy in Rome and Turin.
Mayor Chiara Frontini expressed support for the project, highlighting the opportunity to broaden international prospects for students and young people. The university has also signalled readiness to incorporate the initiative into its educational and research activities.
