Camerata de’ Bardi recognized by UNESCO
In a landmark achievement for the Mugello area, the local Camerata ensemble has had its musical and educational initiative listed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This is the first UNESCO recognition in the intangible category for the Mugello region.
The honored project, titled “Francesco d’Assisi 800: Amore e Pace in Musica©”, aims to promote the figure of St. Francis through concerts, educational activities and youth engagement, emphasizing sharing and collective identity.
