From 12 to 16 May 2026, Valore Italia stages INTERFACE: Post-Industrial Dreams, an exhibition that probes the intersections of art and technology within Milan's MIND Innovation District.
The show, hosted at the Campus of the School of Restoration in Botticino, brings together works by two Albanian-born artists, Ardian Isufi and Shuk Orani. Their practices address contemporary narratives such as post-capitalism, artificial intelligence and the crisis of authenticity through immersive and critical approaches.
Standout is Metallurgic Disney by Ardian Isufi: a VR video-installation that immerses visitors in an amusement park built on industrial ruins, transforming industrial heritage into a spectacle and a critique of consumption and progress narratives.
Shuk Orani's contribution features two AI-generated avatars that observe, converse and progressively deteriorate in relation to each other, interrogating the limits of digital simulation and highlighting where machine processes fail to replicate human fallibility and intuition.
Curated by Elton Koritari, the exhibition is part of Valore Italia's educational initiatives and prompts reflection on the value of restoration, material memory and craft knowledge in an era dominated by technological reproducibility.
The exhibition offers an occasion to observe how contemporary artistic practices reinterpret the relationship between industrial heritage, immersive technologies and multiplied identities, providing critical insights for professionals, students and contemporary art enthusiasts.
