Infiorata 2026 in Noto: tradition meets contemporary art in the borgo

The Infiorata transforms Noto's streets into a route of floral compositions. The main carpet along Via Nicolaci covers a large area and is crafted with hundreds of thousands of petals. Alongside traditional panels, the 2026 edition features themed routes inspired by music, cinema, comics and fashion, plus site-specific installations designed to interact with the baroque facades and squares.

What to see

The event includes:

• a major floral carpet on Via Nicolaci, made with over 400,000 petals;
• themed panels evoking 20th-century languages;
• site-specific works by local and national artists placed in strategic points of the borgo;
• side events such as historical processions and concerts.

Key programme

• 15 May, 15:00 – inauguration with musicians and flag-wavers (Porta Reale, Piazza Municipio, Via Nicolaci).
• 15 May, evening – concert in Piazza Municipio by the Francesca Franchini Band.
• 17 May, 15:00 – baroque costume procession with period attire.
• 17 May, 21:00 – "Pop Symphony Icons" concert with symphonic suites.
• The route remains open in the following days to admire all floral compositions.
