The World of Sebastián: solo exhibition in Castel Gandolfo

From April 2 to 12, 2026, Vivaio Punto Verde in Castel Gandolfo presents “The World of Sebastián”, a solo exhibition by Guatemalan artist Sebastián López Durán, curated by Brenda Estrada. The show features eleven works that immerse visitors in an intense pictorial vision defined by expressive signs, vivid color, and unconventional figures.

The self-taught, neurodivergent artist translates personal experience into a distinct visual code: distorted figures, emphasized eyes, oversized hands, alongside houses, cities and symbols arranged in dynamic, almost hypnotic compositions. Color is central to making an alternative perception of reality visible.
