FAI Spring Days: special openings in La Spezia and province

The national heritage event returns on 21–22 March 2026. FAI Spring Days allow public access to historic palaces, monuments and sites often closed to visitors, offering guided tours and insights into the artistic and landscape value of these places.

  • Nationwide scale: more than 780 sites open across 400 cities.
  • Edition: 34th edition organized by the FAI foundation.
  • La Spezia and province: three specially selected sites will be open for guided visits during the weekend.
  • Contribution: visits are supported by voluntary donations; proceeds help conservation and restoration activities.
  • Priority access: FAI members or visitors who sign up on site receive priority entry.

To take part, check the detailed programme and schedules on the FAI official website and book where required. Arriving early at meeting points helps manage visitor flows and makes the most of the guided tour.

Practical tips: wear comfortable shoes, verify access restrictions for conservation reasons and monitor weather or last-minute changes. Attending FAI Spring Days is a tangible way to discover local monuments and support their preservation.
