FAI Spring Days: Colle del Pionta and Ivan Bruschi House Museum

On the weekend of 21–22 March 2026, Arezzo joins the 34th edition of the FAI Spring Days. The Ivan Bruschi House Museum, which hosts the local FAI office, offers a special free visit titled Memory: from objects to antiques, focused on collecting, the stories objects carry and the role of preservation in cultural memory.

The initiative includes a guided route designed to enhance the Colle del Pionta area and its key sites:

  • the historic cathedral of San Donato;
  • the Oratory of Santo Stefano;
  • the complex and archives of the former psychiatric hospital in Arezzo;
  • the Ivan Bruschi House Museum, with a rich collection of artworks, objects and curiosities from different periods and cultures.

The visit introduces participants to Ivan Bruschi — antique dealer and founder of Arezzo’s historic antiques fair — and highlights how collecting and preserving objects contributes to collective memory, alongside archives and heritage sites featured in the FAI program.

Benefits for visitors:

  • special free guided visit during the event;
  • voucher for reduced admission to the Ivan Bruschi House Museum, valid also after the event;
  • a chance to learn about Arezzo’s art, history and collecting traditions.

For details and bookings, follow the House Museum’s social channels or contact the museum directly:

Joining FAI Spring Days supports cultural promotion through cooperation among institutions, museums and volunteers. If you plan to attend, book in advance and check visiting times on the official channels.
