FAI Spring Days in Vibo Valentia: Palazzo Di Francia open for special visits

On the weekend of 21–22 March 2026, Vibo Valentia takes part in the FAI Spring Days, a national event dedicated to promoting cultural heritage. The program includes a special opening of a private historic residence and a guided route through the town's most significant palaces.

What to see in Vibo Valentia

The highlight is Palazzo Di Francia, a private residence still inhabited by descendants of the noble family and normally closed to the public. The visit will allow access to the garden, the main reception rooms with historic furnishings, fine wallpapers and an important painting collection.

• Palace access: interior visits reserved for FAI members; check booking procedures with the local FAI delegation or the official event site.
• Historic centre walk: open to all, with stops at Palazzo Murmura, Palazzo Gagliardi De Riso, Palazzo Cordopatri, Palazzo Marzano and other notable buildings.
• Apprentice Guides (Apprendisti Ciceroni): trained students will tell the stories and historical details of the sites.
