FAI Spring Days in Ravenna and Province (21–22 March 2026)

On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March 2026 the 34th edition of the FAI Spring Days returns, an event focused on discovering monumental and landscape heritage. Many sites that are usually closed to the public will open for guided tours led by volunteers and young "apprentice guides."

Several historically and artistically significant locations in the province of Ravenna will be available to visitors. Highlights include:

• Palazzo Teodorico — visit to the palace area, towers, gardens and mosaics spanning from the imperial to late-imperial periods.
• Basilica of San Giovanni e Paolo — special access to seventeenth-century frescoes and funerary slabs, with a short musical performance during visits.
• Civic Museum and Church of San Francesco in Russi — exhibitions on Risorgimento figures with original documents, portraits and local collections.
• Ceramics studio-museums in Faenza — guided tours of the workshops and collections of Riccardo Gatti, Guerrino Tramonti and Carlo Zauli.
• Cervia–Pisignano Airport — visit to the 15th Wing with briefings on rescue and civil protection, and equipment demonstrations.
• Archaeological deposit in Lugo — chronological exhibits from the Neolithic to the Renaissance featuring local finds.
