FAI Spring Days 2026 in Friuli Venezia Giulia

Dates: 21–22 March 2026. The FAI Spring Days invite visitors to explore monumental sites normally closed or rarely accessible. In Friuli Venezia Giulia several exceptional openings are scheduled across cities and villages, supported by local volunteers.

Sites open in the region

During the weekend you can visit a variety of historical buildings and monuments. Highlights include:

• Trieste: Palazzo della Regione (former Palazzo del Lloyd Triestino), Villa Necker, MIB School of Management.
• Gorizia: Palazzo Attems, a significant noble residence with historical value.
• Udine: CISM – International Centre for Mechanical Sciences, Stamperia d’Arte Albicocco.
• Palmanova: Venetian and French mines of the fortress, an insight into the military engineering of the star-shaped city.
• Socchieve and Mediis: Church of San Martino and Church of San Biagio, notable religious landmarks in the Carnia area.
• Faedis and Remanzacco: Casaforte di Bergum and the historic vineyard of Faedis, illustrating rural architecture and local winemaking traditions.
• San Vito al Torre: Villa Gorgo, a historic residence set in the rural landscape.
