FAI Spring Days 2026 in Genoa and Liguria

The annual FAI initiative invites the public to visit monuments, historic buildings, churches and natural sites throughout Liguria. Now in its 34th edition, the event aims to promote local cultural and landscape heritage through special openings and guided tours.

Activities will take place across the provinces of Genoa, Imperia, Savona and La Spezia, showcasing both well-known sites and locations that are normally closed to the public. Some visits are free to attend, while others require booking or a voluntary contribution.

• Types of sites: religious complexes, historic villas and palaces, castles, villages, artisan workshops, natural areas and collections.
• Access: many visits are on a free-contribution basis; some require prior reservation.
• 2026 highlights: special openings commemorating the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, with focused visits on sites linked to his legacy.
