Historic Homes Day 2026 in Milan and Lombardy

The 16th edition of Historic Homes Day showcases a programme of exceptional openings of private courtyards, villas and historic palaces in Milan and throughout Lombardy. This year’s theme, “Custodians of the future: a living heritage for shared value”, highlights collective responsibility for protecting and passing on architectural heritage.

The event includes the Open Courtyards initiative, which emphasizes inner historical spaces and promotes direct encounters between the public and local monuments.

  • Court of the Veneranda Pinacoteca Ambrosiana (piazza Pio XI, Milan)
  • Court of Casa Gussi (via Monte di Pietà 24, Milan)
  • Court of Casa Pisani Dossi (via Brera 11, Milan)
  • Court of Palazzo Cusani (via Brera 15, Milan)
  • Court of Casa Bono (via Borgospesso 21, Milan)
  • Court of Palazzo Moriggia / Museum of the Risorgimento (via Borgonuovo 23, Milan)
  • Court of Casa Maveri / Spazio Cernaia (via Cernaia 1, Milan)
