GEA 2076: climate-crisis installation-museum in Bari

GEA 2076 is an exhibition path that uses the idea of a time machine to visualize the effects of climate change fifty years from now. The installation features an accessible, interactive setup designed to inform visitors about causes, responsibilities and actionable responses.

When: 22 - 24 May 2026, 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM (free entry)

Where: Corso Vittorio Emanuele II (near the Horse with Caparison statue), Bari

The exhibition unfolds across three thematic areas that combine scenography and storytelling to show both the impacts of extreme weather events and concrete prevention and adaptation measures. The aim is to inform and engage citizens through educational content and practical activities.

• Opening: Friday 22 May, 12:00 PM (presentation with the exhibit author and local representatives)
• Saturday 23 May, 6:30 PM: panel "Mediterranean, a climate-change hotspot: scenarios and solutions" featuring experts and activists to discuss regional impacts and possible strategies
• Sunday 24 May, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM: "Parlami di TE•RRA", a poetry-writing and reading workshop to engage visitors emotionally with landscape transformation

The route and activities are designed for broad public participation: visits are free and do not require booking. Side events and opportunities for discussion with professionals are scheduled throughout the weekend.
