Giorgio de Chirico: The Sun of Metaphysics at MACC in Scicli

From 18 May to 1 November 2026, the MACC - Museo d'Arte Contemporanea del Carmine in Scicli presents a wide-ranging exhibition dedicated to Giorgio de Chirico, a leading figure of Italian Metaphysical painting.

The display explores the connection between the artist's paintings and the Sicilian landscape, showing how Mediterranean light, squares and the Baroque architectures of the Val di Noto echo the suspended, mysterious atmospheres of his work.
