Giacomo De Luca: solo show "The Body Relic" at MUST Lecce

Opening: 24 April 2026, 19:30 (Sala Marianna Elmo). Inaugural performance at 20:00.

Exhibition period: 24 April – 28 May 2026.

This first solo exhibition in Italy by Giacomo De Luca brings together sculpture, video and live performance to investigate the relationship between the body, organic matter and the sacred. The installation creates a sensory dramaturgy that questions ritual practices and bodily memories, inviting a contemplative and participatory visit.

  • Curatorship and project: curated by the artist together with Cesare Biasini Selvaggi and Matteo Scabeni. The show is part of the "Paesaggi Mediterranei" programme by Lecce Contemporanea Mediterranea, supporting emerging artists under 35.
  • Performance schedule:
    • 24 April 2026 – performance at 20:00 (opening)
    • 25 April 2026 – performances at 11:00 and 18:00
    • 26 April 2026 – performances at 11:00 and 18:00
  • Visiting hours: open Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00–21:00. Closed on Monday. Check for updates on performance times and consider booking guided visits on days with live events.
