Gastone Biggi. Continuous Time

ABC-ARTE opens in Milan Continuous Time, a solo exhibition dedicated to Gastone Biggi. Curated by Flaminio Gualdoni and organised with the support of the Fondazione Gastone Biggi, the show highlights the coherence and evolution of Biggi's long artistic journey through a selection of works from six major cycles.

Short biography

Gastone Biggi (Rome, 1925 – Tordenaso, 2014) was one of the most distinctive figures of Italy's late 20th-century art. Trained after World War II and involved in groups such as Gruppo 1, he pursued a research focused on the effects of colour, light and time. His career included major national and international exhibitions and theoretical writings that accompany his painting practice.
