On 12 May 2026 at 7:00 PM Gallerie Riunite opens the installation titled "Global Folklore". The exhibition brings together recent works by three contemporary artists — Malaj, Martínez and Onda — who investigate folk traditions, collective memory and current visual languages.
The project stages a dialogue between cultural references from Venice and Naples, presenting site-specific interventions and pieces that reinterpret traditional materials and gestures through experimental practices. The exhibition aims to highlight connections between local identities and globalizing processes in contemporary art.
The opening and the exhibition feature works ranging from sculpture to multimedia installations, focusing on textiles, ritual objects and folk iconography reworked by each artist. The curatorial approach emphasizes the relationship between exhibition space and performative practices, encouraging multiple readings of the works.
Please note that access to the opening event may be limited or reserved for specific visitor categories; for practical details on hours, tickets and guided tours, contact the gallery directly or consult its official channels.
