National Historic Houses Day in Calabria: Sunday 24 May

When: Sunday 24 May 2026. The 16th edition of National Historic Houses Day opens more than 20 private historic sites in Calabria, including palaces, villas, castles and estates.

Organised by the Association of Italian Historic Houses (ADSI), this annual event highlights the conservation and value of privately owned historic buildings. The 2026 theme, "Custodians of the future. A living heritage for shared value," emphasises collective responsibility in safeguarding architectural heritage for future generations.

What to expect:

• Access to locations rarely included in standard tourist routes, with unique stories, collections and gardens.
