Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo opens four new exhibitions in one inaugural evening

The Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin kicks off its summer season with a single inauguration evening dedicated to four solo exhibitions by international artists. The event, introduced by founder Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and featuring curators Massimiliano Gioni and Hans Ulrich Obrist, will take place on 15 April 2026 at 19:00.

Opening: 15 April 2026, 19:00. Venue: Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin.

  • Diego Marcon — Krapfen (15 April – 2 August 2026): Commissioned through the New Futures Productions Fund (Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and the New Museum, New York), Marcon revisits cinematic language and genre, blending musical and classic animation references into a disquieting, participatory visual world.
  • June Crespo — Danzante (15 April – 11 October 2026): The Spanish multidisciplinary artist’s first solo show in Italy, focused on sculptural assemblages that manipulate surfaces and materials to create bodily and architectural dialogues. Presented in collaboration with MO.CO (Montpellier) and the Secession (Vienna).
  • Lenz Geerk — Theatre of the Mind (15 April – 11 October 2026): The Swiss painter debuts in Italy with figurative scenes and still lifes that explore subtle psychological tensions and intimate existential narratives.
  • Xin Liu — EXHAUST (15 April – 11 October 2026): Presented with the K11 Art Foundation Hong Kong, Xin Liu’s project comprises three works investigating industrial excess and cycles of rise and decline—what the artist frames as "Cosmic Metabolism."

These four exhibitions combine contemporary production and experimental practices to address materiality, memory and collective imagination. For practical information on opening hours, guided visits and tickets, consult the Foundation’s official channels.
