Archeo‑Agricultural Fair in Pompeii: heritage, agriculture and sustainability

From 15 to 17 April 2026 the Archaeological Park of Pompeii will host the Archeo‑Agricultural Fair of Mediterranean Territories, an event linking archaeological heritage with traditional farming knowledge and sustainable innovation.

The green area along Viale delle Ginestre will become an exhibition space where companies, institutions and organizations showcase typical products, seasonal farming practices and projects that protect local biodiversity.

What to expect

• Exhibition stands featuring local produce and crafts connected to Mediterranean agricultural traditions.
• Opening conference on 15 April at the Park Auditorium: scholars and institutional representatives will address intangible heritage and farming know‑how.
• Focus on ethical practices and sustainable production models, highlighting social networks and cultural landscapes.
• On 16 and 17 April the International G.R.E.E.N. conference will be held in the Auditorium, dedicated to gardens as resources for enhancing environmental and natural heritage.
