Majano Festival 2026: dates and highlights

From 24 July to 16 August 2026 Majano hosts the 66th edition of the Majano Festival, a long-standing event in Friuli Venezia Giulia that blends music, culture, sport and regional food and wine. The preview takes place on Saturday 30 May at Udine Castle with Sunset in the Castle – Degustando in FVG featuring DJ Bob Sinclar.

Programme overview

• Opening and commemorative concert: Saturday 25 July the main Area Concerti stages “Bolero Carmina Burana” with the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra and over 200 musicians and choristers.
• Headliners: Pink Floyd tribute Pink Sonic on 26 July; Ernia on 1 August; Tony Boy on 7 August; Noyz Narcos on 9 August; closing show by Caparezza on 16 August.
• Free events: dance night with Merk & Kremont and Andrea Damante on 5 August; multiple free concerts and tributes in Piazza Italia throughout the festival.
• Exhibitions and awards: exhibition by Bruno Zilli (Ribis) and the Armando Prada prize ceremony on 26 July.
• Sport, motors and family activities: amateur relay on 6 August, motor rallies (Lancia Delta Integrale, vintage cars, tractors), static aeromodelling show on 2 August and children's activities every Sunday.
