The Archaeological Park of Herculaneum offers two themed tours designed for families who want to discover traces of the Hercules myth in the ancient town. The route merges archaeological explanations with mythological storytelling, visiting some of the site's most significant spaces.

Itinerary

• Start: The Augustales' hall, where frescoes depicting Hercules introduce the relationship between cult, civic identity and iconography.
• Continue: Along the main street to the House of the Relief of Telephus, which preserves a marble relief linked to the myth.
• End: The Antiquarium, where the bronze fountain representing the Lernaean Hydra — tied to Hercules' second labour — is on display.
