From May 16 to June 14, the Diocesan Museum of Reggio Calabria presents the photographic exhibition Gaza: Where Life Persists, featuring images by Palestinian photographer Fadi A. Thabet that offer an intimate and multifaceted view of Gaza.
The exhibition is organized into six thematic sections and includes a set of newly added, previously unpublished photographs. Thabet’s work focuses on everyday details — faces, streets, objects and silences — conveying a narrative of pain, resilience and hope.
This exhibition is an opportunity to engage with a perspective of Gaza that emphasizes human stories and daily resilience. Thabet’s photographs act as visual testimony and foster dialogue, inviting visitors to reflect on memory, community and peaceful coexistence.
Practical tip: check the Museum’s opening times before visiting and consider attending the opening or special events for guided insights if available.
