Herculaneum Excavations: inclusive morning for young people with disabilities
The Herculaneum Archaeological Park organized a morning focused on cultural accessibility for ten participants from the Multifunctional Center for Disabled Adults. The event, held in partnership with the G. Buonajuto Civic Library and the Boetheia Onlus Cooperative, was part of the May of Books 2026 program.
Accompanied by center and library staff, participants walked along the decumani and explored ancient houses, workshops and the Old Beach area, discovering everyday traces of Roman life in Herculaneum.

The initiative aims to make the park more accessible and to promote reading among young people, in line with the Reading Pact supported by the Municipality of Ercolano.
