Corridog in Bergamo: city walk for dogs and owners

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, Corridog returns to Bergamo — a non-competitive walk that brings together dog lovers to raise funds for guide dog training. The event is organized by Climarte with municipal support and donates proceeds to the provincial branch of the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired (UICI) in Bergamo.

Meeting point and schedule: gather at 10:00 AM in Piazza Dante. Registrations open at 9:00 AM on the day of the event.

The route is short and level, designed to be accessible to participants of all ages and dogs of all sizes and breeds, provided animals are healthy.

Why join

  • Support the training of guide dogs for people who are blind or partially sighted.
  • Enjoy outdoor social time with your dog and other local owners.
  • Learn about local animal welfare initiatives and resources in the area.

Practical info and tips

  • Registration: on-site; fees are donated to the local UICI branch.
  • Participation: dogs must be healthy; leash required. Use a muzzle when mandated by law or breed rules.
  • Bring: water for your dog, waste bags, a secure collar or harness, and vaccination/health documents if available.
  • Accessibility: the short, easy route is suitable for families and anyone enjoying urban outdoor activities.

The program includes a prize raffle supported by organizers and partners. Local animal protection groups, shelters and guide dog schools will attend, and a veterinary ambulance service will be available for health support if needed.

For logistical updates and last-minute notices, check the organizers' official channels on the day of the event.
