Corciano at the Giornate dei Castelli 2026: guided tours, conference and special openings

When: 16 and 17 May 2026. A weekend designed to explore the hilltop village of Corciano, near Perugia, featuring cultural events and access to the local fortress.

Main programme (16 May)

  • 10:00 – Institutional greetings in the Sala del Vecchio Mulino, inside the medieval walls.
  • 10:30 – Conference "Corciano. A fortified village of art and elevation", coordinated by the University of Perugia with talks by local historians and experts.
  • 13:00 – Lunch at the restaurant "Il Convento" (paid option).
  • 15:30 – Guided visit by reservation to the Castello della Pieve del Vescovo, led by an art history lecturer supported by students.
